An adorable little vintage planter from Relpo. The planter is a lusterware (lustre ware) staircase with a cold-painted Kewpie doll style baby on the stairs. A little toy animal sits on the bottom step. The dimensions are 3 x 3½ x 4 inches high including the newel posts. The planter was made in Japan by Relpo and is #5397. No chips, cracks, crazing or missing paint. Has Relpo foil sticker on the bottom.
