A vintage perhaps antique cotton tablecloth with extensive whitework embroidery and a threadwork hem and mitered corners. This is beautiful embroidery, the kind that is so perfect on the back side it is almost reversible. Click on the photos to enlarge them so you can see the detail of the handwork. The tablecloth is 33 inches square.
This is almost mint condition. I found two dots of soil that may come out. The tablecloth is so beautifully finished I hate to touch it. I can't iron this well. There is also another dot near one of the corner nosegays that looks like the creator caught a needle in the wrong place. These are nit-picking details.
